GILA Convention Cancellation

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the GILA Board of Directors have made the decision to cancel the Association’s 2026 Annual Convention planned for June 11-14 at The Dune House at One Ocean Resort, Atlantic Beach, FL.

We were informed that the resort’s renovation project would not be completed on schedule, leaving most of the hotel’s expected amenities unavailable for our event.

• All rooms reservations booked under our group’s room block will be automatically cancelled.
• Registration payment and sponsorships will be refunded via the payment method received.
• The Dune House at One Ocean Resort has agreed to reschedule our event for 2027 at the same terms and pricing; tentatively scheduled for June 23-27, 2027.
•We are currently working to plan a 2026 Annual Business Meeting for the Association to be held later in June or July. More details will be shared as soon as arrangements can be confirmed.
• If you have further questions or concerns, please email Teri or Jeb for assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause. We will certainly miss gathering for our traditional reunion at the beach but wish everyone a successful and safe summer season.
